Ready to soar: Virtual Gurus gets a fresh look
If you’re reading this, you’ve probably already noticed our new look. We’re thrilled to finally unveil our refreshed website and brand identity, and we’re even more thrilled about how they’ll help us tell our story and accelerate our growth.
Painting a mission-focused picture
Our new visual identity makes liberal use of stars; in fact we’ve featured one right in our logo. These represent our North Star — or stars, really — our amazing virtual assistants. Our VAs are the reason we do what we do.
Our new tagline, ‘We’re your people,’ represents the two sides of our Talentplace. For VAs we’re creating a community where fractional administrative professionals can learn from and share with one another – really giving them a feeling that they have a home with VG. For clients, we’re there to support them in whatever way they need as they build their business. It really speaks to our whole model and approach.
‘We’re proud of what makes us different,” says our CEO Bobbie Racette. ‘We have a crazy strong social mission to provide employment opportunities to underrepresented individuals. With the current economic situation, we feel that it’s more important than ever to share our why. We hope to do just that with our brand refresh. Access to our tech was also really important for both clients and VAs so we’re streamlining our tech stack to allow us to keep up with the growth.”
A foundation for rapid scaling
As a virtual organization, our website is at the core of everything we do, and we’ve given it a complete overhaul. Our new site is designed to give visitors a streamlined experience that is easy to navigate. New and prospective clients and virtual assistants will be able to find the information they need and connect with us in as little as a single click.
The website refresh wasn’t just cosmetic; there were just as many changes under the hood. Our new site will be faster to load, thoroughly optimized for SEO (helping more prospects find us), and seamlessly integrated with the rest of our technology stack. It’s also significantly easier for our team to update and maintain, leaving our team with more time to focus on strategic priorities.
Next-level collaboration
‘Over the past year and a half, we’ve focused our efforts on understanding the manual, hands-on parts of our business that could benefit from automation,’ says COO Margaret Glover-Campbell. ‘We’ve taken huge leaps forward in making stronger connections between our clients and our virtual assistants, and building our team. We stripped everything back to the basics to make sure we’re growing from a solid foundation. Now we’re ready to build from that renewed foundation to truly accelerate our growth.’
It took months of hard work by many members of our team (including a few of our talented VAs!), and the tenacious support of our agency partners at Paper Crane. Thank you to each and every one of you for helping our North Stars shine even brighter than before!
