September is the New January

As the calendar flips from August to September, something magical happens. It’s not only the beauty of the changing leaves that signals Autumn, there is a fresh start afoot!

Perhaps it’s years of a back-to-school rhythm. The start of the school year brings a sense of newness – shiny shoes, levelling up to the next grade, a fresh notebook with a sharp pencil and a clean eraser.

For those of us with farm roots, this is the time of harvest, of preparing for winter, filling the freezer and pantry. Some are looking forward to a Pumpkin Spice Latte, or other seasonal treats at our favourite coffee shop. The change of season influences our wardrobe, calling for cozy knits, scarves and boots.

Regardless, there’s a palpable change in the air, full of new opportunities with the change in season.

Is it possible that September is the new January? We think so!

As we say farewell to the lazy, hazy days of summer and all its adventures, autumn is the perfect time to take advantage of a fresh slate. As it relates to your business, the change from summer to fall can bring increased productivity and focus. If you are looking to finish 2019 strong, the support of a Virtual Assistant from Virtual Gurus could be just the ticket!

Do you have a list of tasks that are looming over your head – things like expense reporting, a social media plan, updating your website? Make a list of these tasks and give us a call. We have a roster of skilled Virtual Assistants who are ready to take these tasks off your plate.

This would be a great time to create or revisit some of your resolutions or goals for 2019.

Do you want to grow your client base? Your Virtual Assistant can take over your email marketing! Maybe you wanted to get to the gym more frequently to focus on your physical health. Allow your Virtual Assistant to manage your calendar to create time and space for these activities! Is there a course, conference or workshop you want to attend, but you can’t get away from your desk or your phone? A Virtual Assistant can make all of the travel arrangements happen on your behalf!

Because of their summer adventures, your business contacts have likely been hard to track down (as have you!) Could this be an opportune time to follow up on some unfinished business and networking? Allow your Virtual Assistant to book some meetings – maybe over a Pumpkin Spice Latte!

By removing administrative tasks from your plate, you’ll have time to focus on things that are important to you. How will it feel when December 31, 2019 rolls around to know that you have focused on your physical and mental health because you had the support your business needs? What if you can increase your revenue by year end because you had the opportunity to focus on the work that actually makes money, not headaches?   It’s possible for you to finish 2019 ahead of schedule instead of behind!

If you consider that on September 1st, there are only 102 days left in 2019. How ARE you going to spend them?
