Bobbie Racette of Virtual Gurus and askBetty to receive the Report on Business Changemakers award from The Globe and Mail.
We’re thrilled to announce that our CEO and founder, Bobbie Racette has been selected as a recipient of the 2021 Report on Business Changemakers award.
Changemakers is a new editorial award program produced by The Globe and Mail’s Report on Business magazine. As one of the 50 recipients, Bobbie was recognized as an emerging leader transforming the business landscape.
“I’m honoured to be recognized as one of Canada’s 50 Business Changemakers. I’m proud to be leading a talent marketplace that focuses on diversity and inclusion and gives people the opportunity to work remotely.”
Winners were selected by The Globe and Mail’s award-winning editorial team based on the candidates’ ideas, accomplishments, and impact. The nominations are then evaluated by subsequent interviews and supported by reference checks.
“As the Canadian economy recovers from the pandemic, many people are seeking ways to make business more sustainable, inclusive, innovative and fair,” says James Cowan, Editor of Report on Business magazine.” The 50 Changemakers on our inaugural list serve as inspiration and instruction for any business leader seeking to effect meaningful change.”
Editorial coverage of all 2021 Changemakers can be found in the March 2021 issue of the Report on Business Magazine, distributed with The Globe and Mail on Saturday, February 27th.
