For business owners, leaders and entrepreneurs, time is as valuable as money. That means anything that saves time or improves your productivity is worth its weight in gold.

Here are 7 productivity apps (in no particular order) to help you level up.

Slack

When it comes to online communication, Slack is a top choice in our opinion. Enabling streamlined online communication between coworkers, organizations and even friends and family, Slack provides instant message notifications, with customizable notification preferences. You can share files and create channels for specific teams or topics, and there is a whole ecosystem of integrations with other apps and tools. It’s free for small groups but larger companies will need to purchase a plan.

If you’re looking for an extra dose of productivity, the askBetty app can serve as your own personal assistant on Slack.

Calendly

Calendly is our preferred app when it comes to managing our calendars. It lets other people schedule meetings with you by showing them your availability and offering them different types of meetings they can book with you. Whether it’s a quick 20-minute meeting or a longer one, it’s an ideal app for anyone who gets a lot of meeting requests. Calendly integrates with other calendars (e.g. Google, iCal, Microsoft Office 365 or Outlook), to check for conflicts and sync all confirmed appointments. It offers to create an event on your invitee’s calendar as well.
